A Nine Minute Article, For Me? Wow!

I’m a poet, and writer of 2 to 4 minute little articles, but the one I’ve just posted is a nine minute read, so yeah, wow!

Whether or not it’s worth the effort in writing it for me as the writer, or reading for you as the potential reader, well, who knows … Actually, from my writer’s point of view, it was certainly worth while. I went through the process of thinking about all of the animals I’ve had in my life, and enjoyed thinking back on things. If your’re interested, this is the article I’m writing about:

Not all of the animals brought memories of happy things, necessarily, and I know there are certainly many things I didn’t write about, that involved animals, but remembering things from my childhood is always a little bit let’s call it ‘fraught’ because, yes, I’m one of those ‘Me Too’ women, who were sexually abused as a young child, and teen.

So I tend to stay away from thinking too much about my childhood, particularly the youngest years as a child … But I managed to get this longer piece written (yesterday) and posted (today), without going anywhere near that stuff until now. And now I will move on, and onto a different aspect of this.

I’ve been on Medium, and I’m wondering about ways to get more followers, and more people reading my words. I’m a writer, and I don’t write only for myself, I life to think what I write is interesting to other people. I could be fooling myself of…
