Am I There Yet? On Heading To Ever Greater Things In My Life

As a writer, a wordsmith perhaps, I am always looking for interesting things to do with my words. And when I say ‘interesting’ I mean interesting for those who come in contact with my words, but also interesting for me, on a personal level.

I am on Medium to earn some extra money, for sure, to validate the value of my words, in having others read what I have written. I don’t expect huge numbers of readers, nor huge a amounts of money, which is good because, I sure don’t have huge amounts of either of those things!

I’m more interested in attracting the interest of real people who also are looking for ‘interesting’ things here on Medium. And by ‘interesting’, I am particularly more interested in quirky things, that are slightly away from the ordinary …

I’ve been here on Medium for a while now, and have written about lots of different things, but certainly not with the idea of attracting ‘click bait’ — I want the quirky people to come along and read my sometimes quirky offerings!

And in the vein of ‘quirky things’ my latest word related thing I have begun working toward, is to become a Stand Up Comedian. A little bit different, yes? Yes, I feel so! I’ve often felt I would like to do this, but never before thought I might be able to do, it seemed too way out and different for me.
