Being Fit Is A Good Thing

Yes, the experts tell us that being fit is a good thing, and some of those experts (and non experts too) may seem to look down on people who aren’t doing anything to make themselves fit.

But being fit, in a physical sense sometimes simply isn’t possible for some people, and merely getting out of bed is a difficult struggle. For those people, I say well done for keeping on being the best you can. Good On You!

And some of those physical expert types might be ignoring other ways in which we should (or could) try to be fitter — Personally, I would suggest those who deride those who are losing their fight to be fitter, are losing a battle to be emotionally fit.

These physical trainers are in fact causing those who don’t do ‘enough’ exercise (based on their trainer’s evaluation), emotional pain, and they shouldn’t be allowed to be so cruel to people in such a way.

There is more to life that just physical aspects, our emotional wellness depends on us being happy with ourselves in our own minds, and being told we’re not going hard enough, when we’ve actually been trying our hardest, that is no help for our emotional wellness at all.

Being a ‘fit’ human being depends, in my opinion, being kind to others, helping them when and if we can. Consoling people who are feeling upset, helping them to find ways to…
