Don’t Limit Yourself To Only One Thing!
Writers are the people who use written words to say things, and the better they are using words, the better they are at getting their opinions ‘out there’!
But if you limit yourself, in what you write, you’re more likely to get stuck in that narrow groove, and won’t be prepared to jump onto the next thing, when it arrives!
Writers can write copy for business, and make money, good money if they choose the best options, but doing that kind of writing, while good in monetary terms, can be stultifying in terms of real creativity.
Writing about a new car may pay the bills, but it can choke your joy, and make writing feel like a just a job, instead of the thing that makes you feel complete.
But if you only write the creative poetry that is the thing that makes your heart smile, well, that may bring on a frown from your purse and your bank balance.
And blogging can be lots of fun, or it can be a drag, if you’re struggling to make your niche blog a money maker. Thinking about that blog might end up feeling like a waste of your time, and if you feel like that about it, well, yo’ll be right, it will be time wasted, when something else might be far more satisfying.
And if you write books, don’t stick to just one kind of book. Fiction for adults, even if well…
