Finding Myself In A Cuppa!
After being a quiet and unobtrusive member of society, to a large extent for my younger life, I’m now enjoying myself so much more, embracing ways to be a bit ‘different’.
I’m not saying I’m a rebel or anything, I’ve just finally realised the joy in life when you decide, finally, to do things the way you truly want to! So I don’t pair my own socks, and so my socks never match, and don’t even need to actually be of the same colours as the socks in the photo.
My clothes tend to all be in similar colours, but I’ll wear things in slightly different ways (t-shirts over long sleeves, for instance), and the reason the clothes are in similar colours is not to follow any ‘fashion’ but because I wear the colours I like, and that is the colours of Autumn, which, once I realised which colours I like to wear, made my clothes shopping much easier (and cheaper too!)
And the cuppa I enjoy? Well that isn’t something you buy from a supermarket, that comes in a tea bag. No, my favourite cup of hot liquid in the afternoon is usually the one I’m having right now — a herbal choco chai This cuppa was made in a tea pot, where I put chopped herbs, that I’d plucked from my own garden just minutes before making the cuppa.
In my cup of chai were these herbs: salt bush leaves and seeds, chocolate mint, rosemary, and thyme. After I chopped the herbs…
