Finding Purpose In Life Is Important. So Is Enjoying It!

Having a ‘purpose’ in your life makes it all feel much more grown up, as though there is a good reason for us to be there, inhaling the air, and being allowed to do things! Big important things.

But living a life you can enjoy, truly like being able to do the things you do, surely that is important as well. If your every action was uncomfortable, painful even, whether physically, emotionally, or spiritually, then life would be a constant trial to you … Who woiuld want that?

I submit that only a sick and sorry person would want a life like that, somebody with no real understanding of the possibilities available to a human being, when they are alive and connected to all there is there, wating for them to be involved in!

We’re born, we live our lives, we die. The same is true for us all, but surely we have more to our lives than merely existing, without any bigger reason for our being?

Some of us look to religion to show us a way to go through our lives, others may look back to ancient times, and perhaps find a way through based on a particular philosophy. Others may find meaning in their job, or away from work, a hobby they find meaning in.

Certainly some professions can provide a higher purpose — medical professions for instance, where the worker…
