Forming Habits Takes Time, But If You Form Good Ones, You’ll Benefit Big Time

The problem of course is some habits formed turn out to be good ones, and also, Life is always there, waiting to ruin your ability to do whatever that good habit requires you to do.

The view from my (largely dog poop-free) back yard! I go for walks around our property too, sometimes.

One of my good habits, that I’m hoping will continue on for the rest of my life, really, if I can do it, is the habit of going for regular walks. I’ve been doing this for over a year now, and my fitness level, and reduced weight are showing the benefits.

And I’m feeling great too, going for a walk takes me out in Nature, whether
alone, or with others, and that’s a wonderful thing to do! I have a habit of eating a healthy diet too, and not eating too much!

In the past, I was in the habit of drinking a glass of red wine with my main meal, almost every night. I now have a glass of red wine some nights, but only ever perhaps three times a week. I’m glad to have changed that habit into a much better one!

A lovely shiraz and some ‘light’ reading, ane the right hand side, I think dried figs grown at the same winery the wine was from.

What other good habits? Ah here’s one. It is a habit of my husband and I to “pick up” after our dog, a greyhound named Lenny does what dogs do when going outside whether…
