Greyhounds, An Acrostic Poem
I am living with a Greyhound, after having had a variety of other breeds of dogs in my life. After having so many different ones, I thought I knew dogs, but Greyhounds are something different, something special, and I suspect I may have Greyhounds for the rest of my life, now, no other breed will meet up to what a Greyhound can give!
GREYHOUND — An Acrostic Poem
Get off the sofa, don’t steal my spot!
Really settling in for good now he is,
Even a bomb couldn’t wake him.
You try to move him, he growls!
Have I hurt him? No, saying “Back
Off”, like I’m a pack member. OK, I
Understand that, and it’s not scary
Now, but it was at the start! Don’t
Doubt it, they’re different, & special!
