Half Empty or Half Full?
It Doesn’t Matter — Glasses Are Refillable!
Of course, if the liquid in the glass in question was something special, a fine wine perhaps, of which there are no more bottles of that vintage, then the question of refilling the glass perhaps may seem like it matters.
But what is wine, beyond grapes that have been treated in a variety of ways, then left for a while before being put into bottles. Fine wine to one person, may seem like lemon juice to another person, not a drink to be savoured, but to be spat out!
Yes, some people simply don’t ‘get’ the wine boffin thing, and that’s fine. A person who appreciates fine wine will buy the best wine they can afford, and if that isn’t the very best, they will try harder to get more money ,or find some other way of obtaining their drink of choice.
And of course there are so many liquids to use to fill that proverbial glass, soft drinks, fruit juice, cordial, water, beer, brandy, and so many different cocktails, a world full of options, to use to fill our glasses full.
And of course my point in writing this piece, is to remind people that there is always a chance to fill our glass, with the best we can afford, if and when we want to fill it. Stressing over events in life, when we don’t get all we desire to have, is that a wise way to…
