I quit full time work in 1993, to be a fulltime mother instead. But instead of my brain turning to much, as some of the people who I worked with before thought would happen, instead I found a passion I'd never realised I even had, the love of creative writing, poetry in particular.

My public service life, as a lowly minion was never going to connect with the creative person I was aching to become, but my life now gives plenty of opporunities to explore my creative options, with the writing of books, particularly poetry collections a loved experience these days.

As my son has grown to be a young man, so my creative writing profile has grown, with a quite a few books and poems to my name.
