If Nobody Else Seems To Notice My Grey Hairs How Do I Know If They’re Just Being Kind?

I realise it wouldn’t be surprising that I’ve started having grey hair pop up on my head. I’m getting closer and closer to being sixty-one years old, and at that age, the occasional grey hair, or rather the off white hair, that makes the rest of my hair appear slightly greyer.

And the worst thing is that some of these white hairs are popping on my chin, all in one particular spot. I’m leaving alone the white hairs appearing on my head, and in my mind calling them ‘silver’ hairs, and telling myself they look good, adding an extra ‘something’ to my hair, as in something lovely and a bit different.

Of course, it just means I’m getting older, and should just get it all died purple or something — Huh, no way, that would look truly awful! My hair is a reddish brown colour, and those silver hairs? Well I think I’m the only person who even knows they’re there.

Unless, as I mentioned in the headline, perhaps my family and friends are just being polite to me, as I’m slowly becoming old(er) … I don’t know. I’m certainly not going to ask anyone about it, beause they may feel it’s time to tell the truth, and mention the fact that I’m going grey …
