It’s Not A Problem, It’s A Challenge!
There are many things that may happen in a life, some good, some not so good, some absolutely terrible. But the way you label these things, to others, but more importantly to yourself, is incredibly relevant to ensure better mental, and physical health.
If a person considers everything that happens that isn’t perfect as a problem, they will soon enough be brought down by the overwhelming burden of life, and it may bring them down.
If you were to consider every thing that isn’t wonderful, as a challenge, instead of as a problem, how wonderful you will feel when you step up and meet that challenge!
I know about challenges, I have Multiple Sclerosis (MS), and illness that can lead to being unable to walk, and even lead to death, at its worst. But I am managing my illness, and while some days are harder than others, I’m going well, and able to walk as far and for as long as I want!
I’m currently taking an MS medication and I am doing extremely will with it. Or am I dong well because I’m also eating healthy food, and not too much of it? Or am I doing well because I’m also exercising? Or is it because I am still active in my community, and maintaining a positive attitude to life?
I suspect it’s a combination of all of these things, my mind and body working well together to keep everything in my life working well. I have things to look forward to in my life, so that every day, I get out of bed, excited at thought of the things I have planned for the day.
That attitude in life, whether burdening with a chronic illness or not, can make for a great life! I know because that is what I’m living. I have MS and I love my life!
