Making My Words Work

I am a writer, and happily so. Words have always been there for me, when I had a creative story to tell, beginning when I was a Secondary School student.

If I have a piece of paper, and something to write with, I can switch on my creativity, and write. I have had much success with this over the years, with nine published, with more in the offing, awaiting publication.

I write both poetry and prose, in both short form, and longer pieces. And in more recent years, I have certainly enjoyed blogging, and the ease of access that platform offers.

And now, this platform I am using here, now, Medium. As a ‘newbie’ to Medium, I am in the process of exploring what is on offer with Medium, and have enjoyed the writing I have done so far.

I’ve written about a variety of different things, from writing, to my dog, Nature, and other themes. I just love writing!

But the reality is, the writing is merely a method, and the main thing I love is to contact with others, sharing words and exploring ideas. And that is where Medium really comes into the forefront.

I can read the words of many, many other thinkers/writers, and then, if appropriate, respond to what I had read. And then, the writer of the prompting words, is able to respond to me.
