On Saving A Fellow Creatures’s Life

It was going to be a quiet day, a stay home and do practically nothing day. But then things suddenly changed, I may have saved a creature’s life, and surely that is something incredibly important.

The creature whose life I ‘saved’ is our new dog, a big bouncing boisterious black male greyhound, Lenny. I’ve know of Lenny for a few months now, and just a couple of weeks ago, my husband and I met him for real, and took Lenny home with us, to be our new dog.
