Probably How Not To Write A Novel

Or an ongoing series of novels … I am currently (sort of) writing the first in a series of Cosy Murder Mystery novels. I have a setting, and characters, and I have a murdered person, and a villain, I think.

The actual murderer is not the ‘baddest’ person in this first novel, the Mayor of my town is the worst. But the murderer in this first book will probably only kill one person, while there’s no telling how many people may end up dying because of the actions and or inactions of this Mayor.
