These are wise thoughts indeed, oh if only more people adhered to such ... so many are unable to separate 'wants' from 'needs', and neglect to step back to take a longer, broader look at what is important to be fully human.

Thinking further, going above and beyond the obvious, using reason, working toward gaining wisdom, and not relying only on base instincts, this is what lifts us above animals, making us fully human.
