When Our Mind Sees Unsavory Ideas …

In our online, social media worlds, travelling the world in ten seconds flat, flittereing around from this to that, we will sometimes see things we don’t like.

I love the intricate shapes I find in Nature …

I love the way Nature doesn’t try to change our minds in deceitful, money grabbing ways. Nature doesn’t want or need us, but simply goes on about its business as it always has.

If I see anything my mind looks on as unsavoury in Nature, I know I must accept the truth of that thing, and tell myself, well, that’s how Nature can be. From beautiful and precious things, to awful and nasty things, Nature is all that and more. I know the truth of that.

Living in the country, as I do, I see the newborn lambs, and find joy in watching them gambol around in the paddock together. But I know they may die in that paddock, with their bodies picked at by predators, crows, and then the insects out there, waiting for death of other things, to give the food they need for life …

Give and take, good and bad, it’s all there in Nature, but there is no blame game, things are how they are. In human life though, we sometimes, or even always, try to see meaning, find deeper reasons for the things that happen in life. Some people do, anyway, others seem to simply exist and…
