Wandering through the internet is a bit of a sometimes hobby of mine, probably used as a form of procrastination … Oh well, I’m sure I’m not the only one of us guilty of that one!

Photo by Avel Chuklanov on Unsplash This is not me, I’m not as organised as this woman!

But the good thing about wandering through the internet, is that if you have at least a little idea of what you wish to read about, you can find little gems of interest.

I have found such a gem here and am glad to have some scientific evidence for my own thoughts/ideas … That small article discusses the usefulness of doing creative activities to enhance a person’s well-being.

The article goes on to explain that while doing creative activities certainly helps a person to feel well about things, the effect is not ongoing, ie, doesn’t last into the next day and beyond.

Even though this may be interpreted as a bit of a downer, in my opinion, it is in fact a positive thing, in that it means a person has a fine reason to do something creative every single day, Hooray to that!

So as I have been looking at Creative Hobbies that I do, I am glad to know that pursuing these past times is probably aiding my feeling of well-ness. It already felt like these things were doing that, but I believe in the truth of scientific proof!
