Why Does The Sky …

A little poem created on a day of a lovely blue sky with some white clouds, looking good enough to eat!

The sky above my place, writer’s photo

WHY DOES THE SKY
Why does the sky weep sometimes, when the farmers need the rain
Is it crying for ones who may drown, or for good lost down the drain

Why does the sky blacken at sunset, with pin-point pricks of light
Is it showing us light still gets through, to help us though the night

Why do clouds pile up high, loaded with black and angry tones
Is it angry we don’t look up with awe, but only look up with moans

Why does the sky enchant me so, whether day or night, clouded or clear
Because of course it’s the only constant thing in life, and I so love it dear!

I hope you enjoyed reading this little poem as much as I enjoyed writing it! I love living in the country now. After 25 or so years living in the suburbs, moving to the country to live changed my mind in a great many ways.

My ever growing love of Nature in all of its ways and seasons assists me to change as needed, heeding what Nature has given me, or what it may be showing to me, to help me to learn more.
